![]() With only 2 original memebers I think it's time to hang it up. There are plenty of songs that they can play and they always seems to choose to play the same more popular songs but never any songs off of the wild willing and innocent album which in my opinion was one of there last great albums. 3 times now and it seems every time I see them they grow more and more stale. Come back any time I will be there except I'm dead. ![]() And to finish with I spread the virus to my sons. You'll be forever in my heart as the magic of music is at stake. Thanks so much god bless you all guys you made my day. UFO is still just of piece of magic and represents for me elegance in hard rock. And the youngster bloke on the bass up to the challenge to be in Pete Way's boots. Phil's voice still awesome and emotional, Andy pounding his drums from the bottom of the heart, Paul as usual delivering his sense of melody we don't have to say more about. Real big rock stars for me behaving like they were newbies playing in club for their fans. The blokes kindly accepted to sign autographs take pictures. Many not looking "2015 young metal scene, but old die hard fans instead". Was it the venue was a small place packed with long time (a lot of white hair or bald). ![]() Maybe my best UFO show : saw them in 1983 making contact tour then 1997 walk on water. With Phil Mogg showing a great and definitely subtle British sense of humour. Well, the band delivered an incredibly good show. Their following album to chart was “The Visitor” in 2009 making it to number 99, and “Seven Deadly” released on February 27th 2012, which marked UFO’s 20th studio album release. Following “Mechanix”, UFO achieved two more charting albums above the number 80 mark, with “Making Contact” and “Misdemeanor” making it to number 32 and number 74 in the UK Albums Chart. February 1982 saw the band release their tenth studio album entitled “Mechanix”, which became UFO’s highest charting album in the UK making it to number 8. Unfortunately, they weren’t maintaining the same chart success in the US. UFO’s eighth album, released in January 1980 entitled “No Place to Run” pushed the band up the chart further, earning them their highest charting album in the UK making it to the number 11 spot, being certified Silver. It made it to number 41 in the Billboard 200, and number 26 in the UK. Their following album, “Obsession” released in June 1978, earned similar success, but was unfortunately the last album that would feature Michael Schenker. The album has since been listed in the Kerrang! Magazine, as number 28 of the ‘100 Greatest Heavy Metal Albums of All Time’. It featured the singles “Too Hot to Handle” and “Alone Again Or”. They released three albums before their huge breakthrough in 1977 with the album “Lights Out”, which made it to number 23 in the Billboard 200 Chart and number 54 in the UK being certified Gold. UFO hit their stride when they drafted in eighteen-year-old Michael Schenker to be their lead guitarist in 1973.
